The LGE AndroidNet NDIS Ethernet Adapter driver lets Windows recognize the network interface exposed by a compatible LG Android device over USB. It supports communication between the phone and your PC for USB tethering, allowing the computer to use the phone’s internet connection when tethering is enabled.

Key Features

  • USB network recognition: Helps Windows identify the LG device as a network adapter rather than leaving it listed as an unknown device.
  • NDIS networking integration: Connects the adapter to the Windows networking system so applications can use the tethered connection through standard network settings.
  • Support for USB tethering: Provides the PC-side driver needed for sharing an internet connection from a compatible LG phone. Availability depends on the phone, its settings, and your mobile plan.
  • Windows version options: For Windows 11, 10, 8, or 7, select a driver package that explicitly supports your operating system and system architecture. A single package may not cover every version.

How to Install

  1. Check your Windows version. Open your PC’s system information and confirm the Windows edition and architecture, such as 32-bit or 64-bit. Choose an LG driver package matching those details and your device.
  2. Prepare the driver files. Download the appropriate package and extract it if it is compressed. If an installer is included, run it with administrator permission and follow the prompts, including any instructions about when to connect the phone.
  3. Connect and enable tethering. Use a USB cable that supports data transfer, unlock the LG phone, and enable USB tethering in its network or connection settings. Menu names vary by phone model.
  4. Install manually if needed. Open Device Manager and locate the LGE AndroidNet NDIS Ethernet Adapter or the related unrecognized device. Right-click it, choose Update driver, select Browse my computer for drivers, and point Windows to the extracted driver folder.
  5. Verify the connection. Restart the PC if prompted, then check that the adapter appears under Network adapters without a warning icon. Confirm that USB tethering remains enabled and test internet access.

If Windows does not detect the adapter, try another data-capable cable or USB port before reinstalling. An active phone internet connection is also required; installing the driver alone does not enable tethering or provide internet service.
