The Epson EcoTank 4750 driver allows Windows to communicate with your printer and gives you access to its printing options. Install the appropriate Epson software for your version of Windows to set up the device, adjust print preferences, and use supported scanning functions.
Key Features
- Print settings at your fingertips: Choose paper size, paper type, orientation, and print quality to suit everyday documents or more detailed output.
- Two-sided printing controls: Access automatic duplex settings to print on both sides of a sheet and reduce paper use.
- USB and network setup: Configure the printer for a direct USB connection or use it over a supported wired or wireless network.
- Scanning software support: With the appropriate Epson scanner driver and utility installed, scan documents to your computer and adjust settings such as resolution and output format. Scanning tools may be supplied separately from the printer driver.
How to Install
- Check your Windows version. Select an Epson EcoTank 4750 driver package that explicitly supports Windows 11, 10, 8, or 7, as applicable. Match the package to your system’s architecture where separate options are available.
- Prepare the printer. Turn it on and complete any initial setup shown on its display. For a network installation, connect the printer and computer to the same local network. For USB setup, leave the cable disconnected until the installer asks for it.
- Run the downloaded installer. Open the setup file and allow it to make changes if Windows prompts you. Follow the instructions and choose the connection method you intend to use.
- Complete device detection. Select your Epson printer when it appears, then finish installing the required components. If you need scanning, install the compatible scanner software as well.
- Test the installation. Open Windows printer settings and print a test page. Check paper and duplex preferences, then try a scan if you installed the scanning tools.
If the printer is not detected, check its connection before running setup again. For network use, confirm that neither device is on an isolated guest network; for USB, try a direct connection to the computer rather than a hub.
Common Issues and Fixes
- Installer fails or stalls: Temporarily disable VPN/antivirus, run the Epson installer as administrator, remove any old Epson ET-4750 entries in Devices and Printers, reboot, then reinstall the full driver package.
- Printer not detected: For Wi-Fi, confirm the ET-4750 and PC are on the same 2.4 GHz network and use Epson Net Setup/Smart Panel to reconnect; for USB, try a direct port and a different cable, avoiding hubs.
- Driver/version conflicts: Uninstall older Epson printer and scan drivers, delete stale ET-4750 queues/ports, then install the latest Epson package. Avoid mixing the Windows inbox driver with the full Epson driver.
