The Magicard Pronto Printer driver allows Windows to communicate with your card printer and send print jobs correctly. It also provides access to printing preferences so you can match your card layout and ribbon settings to the job. Select a driver package from the manufacturer that supports your version of Windows 11, 10, 8, or 7.
Key Features
- Windows printing support: Connects compatible card-design software and other Windows applications to the Magicard Pronto Printer.
- Print layout controls: Provides settings for card orientation and output preferences, helping you position text, photographs, and graphics correctly.
- Ribbon and output settings: Lets you configure supported printing options to suit the ribbon installed in your printer.
- Printer management: Makes the device available through Windows printer settings, where you can review its status, manage queued jobs, and open printing preferences.
How to Install
- Check your Windows version. Confirm whether your PC runs Windows 11, 10, 8, or 7, and check its system type. Choose a manufacturer-provided driver package that explicitly supports your operating system and architecture.
- Download and prepare the installer. Save the driver package to your computer. If it arrives as a compressed archive, extract its contents before starting. Close any card-printing applications to avoid interruptions during setup.
- Run the installation program. Open the installer and approve the Windows permission prompt if requested. Follow the on-screen instructions, including any directions about when to connect the printer.
- Connect and configure the printer. Power on the Magicard Pronto Printer and connect it to your PC as instructed. Once installation finishes, open Windows printer settings and confirm that the device appears. Review the printing preferences for your card layout and installed ribbon.
- Check the first print. Load suitable cards and make sure the ribbon is fitted correctly, then print a sample from your card-design application. Check alignment, orientation, and image quality before sending a larger batch. If the printer does not respond, check the connection and print queue, and restart Windows if the installer requests it.
