Name: KeyScan KS810 P USB2.0 Scanner Driver
Author: Keyscan

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the KS810 P, run the vendor installer as administrator, and reconnect only when prompted. Close scanner/WIA/TWAIN apps and temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks the driver.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB 2.0 port, not a hub; try a known-good cable. In Device Manager, check Imaging devices or Unknown devices for errors, then rescan hardware.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older KeyScan drivers and duplicate WIA/TWAIN entries via Programs and Features/Device Manager, restart, then install the current package. In scanning software, select the KS810 P as source and avoid mixing 32/64-bit drivers.
