Common Issues and Fixes

• Driver install fails or setup exits early: Confirm the package matches your Windows version and architecture for the RocketRAID 2640X4. If setup still fails, install the `.inf` manually via Device Manager → Update driver → Browse → Let me pick → Have Disk.
• Controller not detected: Reseat the card in its PCIe slot, check BIOS/UEFI for the HighPoint option ROM, and verify the card appears in system device listings. For boot volumes, enable the controller’s boot support and set the correct RAID array as boot device.
• Version conflicts with existing HighPoint software: Uninstall old RocketRAID drivers and RAID management utilities, reboot, then install the driver package matching the card’s firmware. Avoid mixing 32/64-bit or desktop/server packages.
