• Switcher not detected: Verify the ATEM 1 M/E is on the same subnet as your PC, use a direct Ethernet connection or known-good switch, disable VPN/firewall temporarily, and confirm the IP in ATEM Setup.
• Version/firmware conflicts: Match ATEM Software Control to the switcher firmware; don’t mix old and new Blackmagic packages. Update firmware through ATEM Setup, then relaunch the software.
