Common Issues and Fixes

• Install fails or hangs: Disconnect the PT-1500PC, close P-touch Editor, and run the Brother setup as Administrator. Use the PT-1500PC-specific driver package; don’t accept a generic Windows text-printer driver. Reconnect only when setup asks.
• Device not detected: Power on the label printer and confirm the cable/port selected in Printer Properties. If using a serial/USB adapter, install its driver and match the COM port. Try another cable/port and print a test label from P-touch Editor.
