Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the ZTE MF110, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Confirm the package matches your Windows version and architecture. Avoid plugging in the modem during installation unless the installer instructs you to.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try another USB port, preferably a direct rear port. Reseat the SIM and check Device Manager for unknown devices or COM ports. The MF110 may first appear as storage/CD-ROM; install the ZTE driver, then replug so it switches to modem mode.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing ZTE/MF110 modem drivers and connection managers, reboot, then install one matching driver package. Remove hidden old modems in Device Manager and avoid mixing generic with vendor drivers.
