Question 1

Installer fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Run the Zoom 3035 USB fax-modem setup as administrator, close fax/telephony software, and use the signed 64-bit driver package if Windows blocks unsigned drivers.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the modem directly into a rear USB port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for an unknown USB device or modem entry, then reinstall the driver.

Question 3

Version/COM-port conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Zoom modem drivers and stale COM ports in Device Manager, reboot, then install the current driver. Do not force an older driver over a newer one.
