Name: Zonet Bluetooth Device Driver
Author: Zonet

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Zonet driver installer as administrator and use Windows compatibility mode for older packages. On newer Windows versions, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement if the package is unsigned, then reinstall.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try another USB port, avoid hubs, and check Device Manager for unknown devices. Remove any hidden Bluetooth entries, reboot, enable Bluetooth, and put the device in pairing/discoverable mode before pairing.

Question 3

Version conflicts or repeated disconnects?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Bluetooth drivers and the generic Windows stack entry from Device Manager, deleting the driver when prompted. Reboot, install the matching Zonet package, and prevent Windows Update from replacing it automatically.
