Name: ZK Software U300 C Driver
Author: ZK Software

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any existing ZK/USB driver and SDK first, reboot, then run the U300 C installer as Administrator. If the package is older, use Windows compatibility mode for Windows 7/8 and confirm you downloaded the correct 32-bit or 64-bit version.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the U300 C directly to a rear USB port with a known-good cable, not through a hub. Check that the terminal powers on and its USB communication setting is enabled; in Device Manager, look for an unknown/USB device and update it using the downloaded driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts with ZK software?

Accepted Answer

Remove older ZKAccess/ZKSoftware drivers and SDKs before installing the U300 C package. Reboot after removal and avoid mixing driver versions from different ZK downloads.
