Name: Zebra ZM400 200 dpi Driver
Author: Zebra

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the Zebra installer as administrator, or use Zebra Setup Utilities. If Windows blocks the package, unblock the downloaded file first. For ZM400 200 dpi, do not force a 300/600 dpi driver—install the matching 200 dpi model.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the ZM400 is powered on and connected via the correct USB, parallel, serial, or Ethernet port. In Printer Properties, select the exact port shown in Windows Device Manager. Print a configuration/self-test label to verify the printer is ready.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Zebra drivers and stale printer queues before installing. Stop the print spooler, clear pending jobs, reboot, then install one ZM400 200 dpi driver. Avoid mixing generic Windows Zebra drivers with the official package.
