Name: Zebra ZDesigner GK888t Driver
Author: Zebra

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Zebra/ZDesigner driver packages and old GK888t printer queues first. Run the driver installer as administrator, reboot, then install the correct 32/64-bit Windows package.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the GK888t is powered on and ready. Use a known-good USB cable directly into the PC, not a hub. Install the driver before connecting USB, or try another port and check Device Manager for an unknown device.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Delete stale GK888t queues and conflicting ZDesigner versions in Print Management. After reinstalling, verify the printer is assigned to the correct USB port and restart the Print Spooler service.
