Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Use the Zebra P120i driver package matching your Windows version and architecture. Run the installer as administrator, reboot, and retry; older packages may require compatibility mode.

Question 2

Printer not detected over USB?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a rear USB port with a known-good cable—no hub. Power-cycle the card printer, check Device Manager for unknown/USB devices, then install or repair the driver before reconnecting.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Zebra P120i and other Zebra card-printer entries in Printers & scanners and Device Manager. Restart the Print Spooler service, then install one driver version only; avoid mixing Windows Update and Zebra packages.
