Name: Zebra Card Printer P430i Driver
Author: Zebra

Question 1

Driver installation fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the Zebra P430i installer as administrator and use Zebra Setup Utilities rather than Windows’ automatic driver search. Disconnect the printer during install, then reconnect when prompted.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the P430i’s power and USB cable, try a direct USB 2.0 port instead of a hub, and confirm the correct USB port is selected in the driver. Reboot before reinstalling.

Question 3

Version conflicts/old driver persists?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Zebra card-printer queues and driver packages via Print Management, reboot, then install the latest P430i driver. Avoid mixing old and new Zebra drivers.
