Name: Zebra 140XiIII Driver
Author: Zebra

Question 1

Install fails or setup exits?

Accepted Answer

Legacy 140XiIII drivers may be blocked on 64-bit Windows. Run the installer as administrator; if needed, install manually via Add Printer > Have Disk and point to the downloaded INF.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer is powered on and connected to the correct parallel/serial port (or optional Ethernet). Check the cable and select the matching LPT/COM port in the driver—not a USB port unless a converter is used.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Zebra printer entries and drivers in Print Management, reboot, then install the 140XiIII driver matching your Windows version. Avoid mixing Zebra Setup Utilities versions.
