Name: YAMAHA YST MS35D USB Audio Driver
Author: Yamaha

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Yamaha setup as administrator, close media apps, and confirm the package matches your Windows version/architecture. If it still fails, disconnect the YST MS35D, uninstall any old Yamaha USB Audio entry in Device Manager, reboot, then rerun setup.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port, not a hub; try another cable/port. Check Device Manager for “Unknown USB Device,” remove it, scan for hardware changes, and let Windows install its USB Audio Class driver.

Question 3

Version/driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

If Windows uses a generic USB Audio driver or sound is missing, uninstall existing Yamaha/USB audio drivers with “Delete the driver software,” reboot, then install the correct YST MS35D package. Avoid mixing old and new Yamaha driver versions.
