Author: Wacom

Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Cintiq 24HD, uninstall any existing Wacom driver, restart Windows 10, then run the Wacom installer as administrator. Reconnect only when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the 24HD’s power adapter, USB cable, and video connection. Plug USB directly into a rear motherboard port—not a hub—and confirm the correct display input is selected. Reseat cables and restart.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Wacom drivers and Wacom Desktop Center entries before installing the current Windows 10-compatible driver. If pen input misbehaves, check Wacom Tablet Properties and Windows Ink settings, then restart the Wacom service.
