Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi driver installer as administrator. Temporarily pause antivirus/security software, and uninstall any older Vodafone Mobile Broadband or Mobile Wi-Fi software before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use the original USB cable and a direct USB port, not a hub. Power-cycle the Mobile Wi-Fi unit, wait for it to boot, then reconnect. Check Device Manager for unknown devices or missing network adapters.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove the existing driver in Device Manager (select “Delete the driver software”), uninstall old Vodafone utilities, reboot, then install the package that matches your Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture.
