Author: Visioneer

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Visioneer 9520 USB cable, uninstall any previous Visioneer/OneTouch software, then run the installer as administrator. Reconnect the scanner only when the installer prompts.

Question 2

Scanner not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB 2.0 port instead of a hub, check the power adapter, and confirm the cable is secure. In Device Manager, remove any unknown/USB scanner entry and rescan for hardware.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Old OneTouch or TWAIN drivers can conflict with the new package. Remove duplicate Visioneer scanner entries, install the correct 32/64-bit driver, and reboot before testing in another scanning app.
