Question 1

Driver install fails or Windows rejects the INF?

Accepted Answer

Use the official ViewSonic VS15451 package, run it as administrator, and match your Windows version/architecture. If setup still fails, update manually via Device Manager > Monitors > Update driver > Browse.

Question 2

Monitor not detected as VS15451?

Accepted Answer

Check power, input source, and cable/port; try another DisplayPort/HDMI/VGA cable. In Device Manager, scan for hardware changes. Windows may list it as “Generic PnP Monitor” until the correct driver is installed.

Question 3

Version conflicts or wrong resolution/color?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, enable “Show hidden devices,” uninstall duplicate/old monitor entries, reboot, then reinstall the current driver. Set the monitor’s native resolution and remove any forced custom modes.
