Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Vuego/ViewSonic monitor driver installer as administrator and try Windows compatibility mode for older packages. If blocked, update the monitor INF manually via Device Manager > Monitors > Update driver > Browse.

Question 2

Monitor not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the VGA/DVI cable at both ends, confirm the VG930M is powered on and set to the correct input, then try another cable/port. Use Device Manager > Scan for hardware changes.

Question 3

Version conflicts/wrong resolution?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the existing monitor entry and driver in Device Manager, reboot, then install the latest package. Set the VG930M to its native 1280×1024 resolution and avoid forcing unsupported modes.
