Name: ViewSonic VA1931wa Driver
Author: ViewSonic

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

The VA1931wa package is often an older monitor INF/color profile. Run the installer as administrator, unblock the downloaded file, and install manually via Device Manager > Monitors > Update driver > Browse. If Windows rejects it, keep the generic PnP monitor driver and install only the ICC profile.

Question 2

Monitor not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check that the VGA cable is fully seated and the VA1931wa is powered on. Press the monitor’s input/source button if needed, try another VGA cable or port, and confirm Windows shows it under Monitors.

Question 3

Version/color conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old ViewSonic or other monitor entries and stale ICC profiles in Color Management, then reboot and let Windows re-detect the display. Avoid mixing a generic PnP driver with a vendor INF.
