Author: ViewSonic

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the ViewSonic PJD6251 driver installer as administrator, confirm the Windows version/architecture matches the download, and temporarily disable antivirus. Remove any older ViewSonic projector driver first.

Question 2

Projector not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the VGA/HDMI cable and selected input source on the PJD6251. In Windows, press Win+P and choose Duplicate/Extend, then use Display settings > Detect.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

If Windows Update installs a generic display driver over the ViewSonic package, open Device Manager, uninstall the projector/display adapter entry, reboot, and reinstall the correct PJD6251 driver. Roll back if a recent update breaks resolution or connection.
