Author: ViewSonic

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the ViewSonic PJD5351 driver installer as administrator, try Windows compatibility mode, and temporarily disable antivirus. Confirm the package matches your Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture; if setup still fails, update through Device Manager.

Question 2

Projector not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the VGA/component cable and select the correct source on the projector. Press Windows+P and choose Duplicate or Extend, then set resolution to 1024×768 at 60 Hz. Try another cable or port.

Question 3

Version conflicts after Windows Update?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older ViewSonic/display drivers in Device Manager, reboot, and reinstall the PJD5351 package. If the projector works with the generic PnP monitor driver, keep it rather than forcing a vendor driver.
