Author: ViewSonic

Question 1

Install fails?

Accepted Answer

Windows may block the older ViewSonic G90F monitor INF. Extract the driver, then use Device Manager > Monitors > ViewSonic G90F > Update driver > Browse > Let me pick > Have Disk and point to the INF. Use a signed package if possible.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the VGA cable, monitor power, and input selection, then run Display settings > Detect and Device Manager > Scan for hardware changes. If it appears as Generic PnP Monitor, update it manually using the G90F INF.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Old ViewSonic or generic monitor entries can override the correct INF. Uninstall all monitor drivers, delete the old driver package, restart, then reinstall the G90F driver and set a supported CRT resolution/refresh rate.
