Question 1

Driver install fails or reports no compatible driver?

Accepted Answer

Confirm you downloaded the correct Windows version and 32/64-bit package. Run the installer as administrator; if it still fails, use Device Manager > Monitors > Update driver > Browse > Let me pick > Have Disk and select the G810 `.inf` file.

Question 2

Monitor not detected or stuck at low resolution?

Accepted Answer

Check the G810’s power and video cable seating, select the correct input source, and try another cable/port. Then use Device Manager > Action > Scan for hardware changes; if it shows “Generic PnP Monitor,” update the driver manually.

Question 3

Version or color-profile conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous ViewSonic monitor driver, remove old G810 color profiles in Color Management, reboot, then reinstall. Avoid mixing the vendor INF with Windows’ generic monitor driver.
