Name: Valentin Pica 104 8 Driver
Author: Carl Valentin

Question 1

Driver installation fails?

Accepted Answer

Windows may block older Carl Valentin packages or report an unsigned driver. Run the installer as administrator, use the latest Pica 104/8 package, and temporarily disable driver signature enforcement only if Carl Valentin instructs it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

The Pica 104/8 may be on the wrong port or connected through an unsupported USB hub/adapter. Connect directly via USB, check Device Manager, then set the correct USB/COM/LPT port in Printer Properties.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Existing Valentin queues or older Pica drivers can override the new install. Remove old Carl Valentin printer entries, restart the print spooler, reboot, and install only the matching Pica 104/8 driver.
