Question 1

Installation fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any older UTAX/Kyocera printer package, run the UTAX P C3060DN installer as administrator, and restart the Print Spooler service. Confirm you are using the correct 32-bit or 64-bit Windows driver.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, try a different port/cable and avoid hubs. For network use, verify the printer’s IP address and create a Standard TCP/IP port matching it; ensure the PC and printer are on the same subnet and firewall rules allow communication.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Remove stale P C3060DN queues and old driver packages via Print Management > Drivers, then install the latest UTAX driver. Avoid mixing PCL, PostScript, and KX driver packages on the same queue.
