Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing UTAX LP 3022/LP 4022 print queue and driver package in Print Management, restart the Print Spooler service, then run the installer as administrator.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, connect directly to a rear port and avoid hubs. For network, confirm the printer IP, ping it, and create a Standard TCP/IP port instead of relying on WSD.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older UTAX/Kyocera driver packages before installing the matching 32/64-bit LP 3022/LP 4022 driver; avoid mixing generic Windows and vendor drivers.
