Name: UTAX CD 5135 Driver
Author: UTAX

Question 1

Install fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Run the UTAX CD 5135 driver installer as administrator and match the package to Windows 32/64-bit. Remove any existing UTAX/Kyocera printer driver and reboot before reinstalling.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, connect the CD 5135 directly to the PC, not a hub, and try another port/cable. For network, confirm the printer’s IP, ping it, then add the CD 5135 by IP rather than relying on auto-discovery.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older UTAX CD 5135 or generic KX drivers, delete stale printer ports, reboot, then install the latest CD 5135 package. Avoid mixing 32-bit and 64-bit drivers on the same print server.
