Name: UTAX CD 5025 DC 6025 KX Driver
Author: UTAX

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing UTAX/Kyocera printer driver and reboot. Run the CD 5025/DC 6025 KX package as administrator and allow the signed driver to install.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a direct rear port and a known-good cable; for network, confirm the MFP’s IP address and that SNMP/port 9100 is reachable. Re-add the printer with the correct port.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old UTAX packages and duplicate printer queues before installing the current KX driver. Match 32/64-bit architecture and avoid mixing PCL/KX drivers on the same queue.
