Author: UTAX

Question 1

Installation fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing UTAX/KX printer entries in Print Management, reboot, then run the UTAX CD 1325/DC 2325 KX installer as administrator. Disable antivirus temporarily if it blocks driver signing.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, connect directly to a rear port, not a hub, and try another cable. For network, confirm the copier’s IP, create a TCP/IP port, and verify PC and device are on the same subnet.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old UTAX/KX packages and let Windows remove the inbox driver. Install the UTAX package matching your Windows version/architecture, then prevent Windows Update from replacing it automatically.
