Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the UPMOST installer as administrator and use Device Manager → Update driver → Browse → “Have disk” to point directly to the correct 32/64-bit INF. Temporarily disable antivirus and confirm the OS version is supported.

Question 2

Card or drives not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the SATA RAID card in its PCI/PCIe slot, check that BIOS/UEFI sees the controller, and enable its option ROM if present. Drives may only appear after you create an array in the card’s RAID BIOS/utility.

Question 3

Version conflicts after upgrading?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any older UPMOST/SATA RAID driver and management utility, reboot, then install the matching driver and utility package together. Avoid mixing a generic Windows driver with the vendor RAID utility; check Device Manager for error codes.
