Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the TVS MSP 430 installer as administrator. If Windows blocks the older package, use the correct 32/64-bit version or a newer signed driver; avoid mixing installers.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the MSP 430 is powered on and the USB/parallel cable is secure. Try another USB port or check the LPT port mode in BIOS. Remove any offline copy in Printers & scanners, then rescan.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing TVS MSP 430 and generic dot-matrix drivers in Printers & scanners or Device Manager, reboot, then install one matching Windows driver package.
