Name: TVS MSP 250 STAR Driver
Author: TVS

Question 1

Driver install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the TVS MSP 250 STAR setup as Administrator and use Windows compatibility mode for the target OS. If Windows blocks the driver, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then reinstall.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the USB or parallel cable and port, power-cycle the printer, and confirm the correct port is selected in Printer Properties. For USB-to-parallel adapters, set the printer’s emulation mode (e.g., Epson FX/IBM) to match the driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate printers?

Accepted Answer

Remove old TVS drivers and ghost queues via Print Management and Device Manager, clear the print spooler, then install the latest MSP 250 STAR driver matching your Windows architecture.
