Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the TVS 3200 Plus, run the driver installer as administrator, and restart the Print Spooler service before retrying. Use the installer that matches your USB or parallel connection, then reboot.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the dot-matrix printer is powered on and online, reseat the USB/parallel cable, and try another port. Check that Windows assigns the correct port (USB001 or LPT1) and run a printer self-test.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing TVS 3200/3200 Plus or generic dot-matrix driver via Print Server Properties > Drivers, reboot, then install the latest TVS driver. Avoid mixing old and new driver packages.
