Name: Turtle Beach AudioAdvantage Driver
Author: Turtle Beach

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Unplug the AudioAdvantage, uninstall any older Turtle Beach/USB audio driver in Device Manager under *Sound, video and game controllers*, reboot, then run the downloaded setup as administrator. Connect the adapter only when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port, preferably a rear motherboard port rather than a hub. In Device Manager, check for “Unknown USB Device” or the AudioAdvantage entry; uninstall it with “Delete the driver software” and rescan for hardware.

Question 3

Version conflicts or distorted audio after an update?

Accepted Answer

Remove duplicate Turtle Beach/USB audio entries, reinstall the matching Windows driver, and set the default playback format to a supported rate such as 48 kHz in Sound settings. Block Windows Update from replacing the driver if audio breaks again.
