Name: TSSTcorp CD DVDW TS L632M ATA Device Driver
Author: TSST

Question 1

Install fails or setup stops?

Accepted Answer

Run the TSST package as administrator and try Windows Compatibility mode. Many TS-L632M drives use the in-box Windows CD/DVD driver, so only install a TSST package or firmware that explicitly lists this exact model.

Question 2

Drive not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the power/data cable or laptop bay connection, confirm BIOS/UEFI sees the drive, then use Device Manager > Scan for hardware changes. Test in another port/system to rule out cable or controller failure.

Question 3

Version/conflict errors?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any old TSST/optical driver in Device Manager, restart, and let Windows reinstall the generic DVD/CD-ROM driver. Avoid forcing older ATA/controller drivers, and remove conflicting burning-suite filter drivers if the drive disappears.
