Name: TSST DVDWBD TS LB23D SATA CdRom Device Driver
Author: TSST

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the TSST/OEM package as administrator and temporarily disable security software. If Windows reports no compatible driver, use the built-in “cdrom” driver via Device Manager > Update driver > Browse > Let me pick, then select the standard DVD/CD-ROM drive. Reboot before retesting.

Question 2

Drive not detected?

Accepted Answer

Verify SATA data and power cables, try another SATA port, and confirm SATA is enabled in BIOS/UEFI. In Device Manager, scan for hardware changes; if error Code 19/31 appears, remove stale upper/lower filter entries and reboot.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous TSST/optical drivers and any third-party driver updater, roll back if the drive worked before, then restart and install one matching package.
