Name: TSST CDDVDW TS T633A Driver
Author: TSST

Question 1

Install fails or setup exits early?

Accepted Answer

The TS-T633A is a slim SATA DVD writer and usually relies on Windows’ native CD/DVD driver. Run any TSST package as administrator, use compatibility mode only if needed, and update the SATA/chipset driver first.

Question 2

Drive not detected or discs not reading?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the TS-T633A appears in BIOS/UEFI, reseat the SATA/power connection, then use Device Manager > Scan for hardware changes. If it shows Code 19/31/39, remove optical-drive upper/lower filters and reinstall the IDE/ATAPI controller.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate entries?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old TSST/optical entries and virtual-drive software, reboot, then install one matching 32/64-bit driver. Prefer Windows 10/11’s native driver over older Vista/7 TSST packages.
