Name: TSST CDDVDW TS L632H ATA Device Driver
Author: TSST

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Windows may block an older TSST package. Open Device Manager, right-click the CD/DVD drive, choose Update driver > Browse my computer > Let me pick, and select the generic CD/DVD driver. If it still fails, uninstall the device and reboot so Windows reloads its native ATA/ATAPI driver.

Question 2

Drive not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the SATA/ATA cable and power connector are seated, try another port/cable, and check that BIOS/UEFI lists the TSST L632H. In Device Manager, run Scan for hardware changes; also verify the storage controller driver is installed.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove duplicate/ghost CD/DVD entries in Device Manager, uninstall third-party burning/filter drivers, then reboot. Avoid mixing old TSST and Microsoft optical drivers.
