Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Use the latest TSC Windows driver for the TTP-244 Plus, run the installer as administrator, close label software, remove any partial printer entry in Print Management, restart the print spooler, then reinstall.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power on the printer, try another USB cable/port or the correct serial/parallel cable, check Device Manager for an unknown device, run a printer self-test, and confirm the driver port matches the physical connection.

Question 3

Version or port conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old TSC/Seagull drivers and duplicate TTP-244 Plus queues, clear stuck spooler jobs, match the 32/64-bit driver to Windows, then reinstall and assign the correct port.
