Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Thrustmaster driver package as administrator, disconnect the T300RS until setup prompts, and temporarily disable antivirus. Remove older Thrustmaster software first, reboot, then reinstall the latest package from Thrustmaster support.

Question 2

Wheel not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the T300RS power supply, use a rear USB port directly (no hub), and set the base’s mode switch to the PC/PS4 position. Check Device Manager and Thrustmaster Control Panel; if absent, reinstall the driver and test another cable/port.

Question 3

Version conflicts or missing force feedback?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old drivers/Control Panel, unplug the wheel, reboot, and install one current package. Run the firmware updater only with the wheel connected and powered; recalibrate after updating.
