Author: Thrustmaster

Question 1

Installer fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the wheel before running the Thrustmaster driver package as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus, complete installation, reboot, then reconnect the wheel.

Question 2

Wheel not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug it directly into a rear USB 2.0 port—avoid hubs and extension cables. Check Device Manager for unknown USB devices; if the wheel requires external power, confirm its power supply is connected, then reinstall the driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts or no force feedback?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Thrustmaster drivers and any wheel entries in Device Manager, reboot, and install the latest package for your exact model. Recalibrate in Thrustmaster Control Panel and avoid mixing beta and older driver versions.
