Name: Tascam US 366 Driver
Author: Tascam

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the US-366, close DAWs and audio apps, then run the TASCAM installer as administrator. Remove any older TASCAM driver via Programs and Features/Device Manager and reboot before reinstalling.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct rear USB port instead of a hub, try a known data-capable USB cable, and check Device Manager for unknown devices. Confirm the US-366 is powered and set to USB mode, then open the TASCAM driver panel to verify sample rate and buffer settings.

Question 3

Version conflicts or dropouts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old US-366/TASCAM software, install the latest driver, and disable Windows audio enhancements/exclusive mode in Sound settings. Avoid sharing the USB controller with high-bandwidth devices.
