Name: Targa DataBox 250 II Driver
Author: Targa

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Unplug the DataBox 250 II first, run the Targa setup as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. If it still fails, install the driver manually via Device Manager using the package’s INF file.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a rear USB port without a hub, try a known-good USB cable, and check Disk Management for an offline or unlettered disk. Assign a drive letter only after confirming the volume is healthy.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, enable “Show hidden devices,” uninstall old Targa or USB mass-storage entries, reboot, then install the correct 32/64-bit package. Avoid mixing an older Targa driver with Windows’ native USB storage driver.
