Name: TA Triumph Adler LP 4228 Driver
Author: TA Triumph-Adler

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the LP 4228 USB cable, run the TA setup as administrator, and use the package matching your Windows version/architecture. If Windows blocks an older package, download the current TA Triumph-Adler release instead of forcing installation.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port, not a hub, or confirm the network IP. Power-cycle the LP 4228, ping the IP, and if discovery still fails, add it manually as a TCP/IP printer with the correct TA port.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Triumph-Adler print queues and drivers in Print Management, reboot, then install the latest LP 4228 driver. Avoid mixing the Windows generic driver with TA features; keep only one LP 4228 driver version.
