Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB cable, remove old TA/Triumph-Adler printer entries, then run the DCC 6520 installer as administrator. Reconnect USB only when prompted; for network installs, use the printer’s IP address instead of WSD.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the DCC 6520 is on the same subnet and responds to ping. Create a TCP/IP port with the correct IP, or try the rear USB port with a known-good cable. Install printer and scanner drivers separately if needed.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Remove old DCC 6520 queues and driver packages via Print Server Properties > Drivers, then install the matching 32/64-bit package. If scanning breaks after an upgrade, reinstall the TWAIN/WIA scanner driver.
