Name: SWTOR Gaming Mouse by Razer Driver
Author: Razer

Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Close Razer Synapse/Cortex and other Razer apps, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Reboot before retrying. Use the legacy Razer driver/Synapse version that lists SWTOR mouse support for your Windows build—not a newer package that omits it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the mouse directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, avoiding hubs, KVMs, or front-panel ports. In Device Manager, remove any unknown/failed Razer USB entry, replug the mouse, and test it on another PC to rule out cable or port failure.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

If buttons or macros break after a Synapse update, uninstall all Razer software, reboot, then install only the SWTOR-compatible driver. Do not mix Synapse 2 and Synapse 3; back up profiles first.
